I’m Ian Costa. I live in Kitchener, Ontario, where I code the future.

Born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, I am a backend developer with 5 years of experience in the field. My journey in technology started with robotics, where I had my first contact with programming working with Arduino and developing a line-following robot. This experience sparked my interest in the area and led me to join the computer networks course, where I learned about infrastructure and deepened my knowledge in programming.

However, my passion for programming spoke louder and I decided to migrate completely to this area. Seeking to improve myself, I took a postgraduate course in web software development, expanding my expertise and acquiring valuable skills in this field.

I am known for accepting challenges with open arms, as I believe that it is outside the comfort zone that we can achieve our best performance. I am always looking for new knowledge and personally get involved in exciting projects because I know that is how I can expand my skills and contribute in a meaningful way.
